There are many types of detox diets that can detoxify the body. The raw food detox diet would be one of the best as it is easy to follow and by going on this detox for a few days you will see the difference in your body instantly.

This detox diet is usually made up of raw fruits, nuts, dried fruits, seeds, vegetables and also any herbs or spices that you may like. If you  have not done a raw food detox before it is important that you prepare for the detox in advance.

Usually a raw food detox diet can last up to 3 – 10 days depending on your body and how many bad toxins are in the body. To make things easier, on the first day  why not try replacing a couple of things  in your daily diet with a raw fruit or vegetable and by the 3rd or 4th day you will have a complete raw food diet.

Usually the first few days are the hardest as you may be new to this type of detox diet and may be tempted to eat a cooked meal but it is important to stay on the raw food detox diet to help with the detoxification process of your body.

By regularly going on a raw food detox diet you will have clearer skin, more energy , less chance of getting heart disease, better digestion and a stronger immune system.

A few meals that will be great while on this diet is fruit salads and mixed salads with your favourite vegetables.By eating these foods raw you will be puting natural vitamins and minerals into your body and giving your body a stronger immune system to fight of diseases.
